Welcome to our Baltic project page!

At the moment only available in German is the main project idea
"zivilgesellschaftliche Initiativen zur Völkerverständigung /
civil society initiatives for international understanding"

More than inspiration since 2002 we received from

EU CBC - cross border cooperation Baltic - Russia projects

We recommend starting your academic research at the pages of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies - AABS https://aabs-balticstudies.org Important to note is that the Journal of Baltic Studies - JBS https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/rbal20  - official journal of AABS - is a vital source of scholarship for those engaged in the study of the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), Kaliningrad, or the Baltic Sea region from a macro perspective.

Also interesting for this transnational FEWD project is some academic research related to the Federation of Austrian-Foreign Societies – PaN online at https://www.dachverband-pan.org/uber-pan/geschichte/

Special thanks go to:

The Baltic teams of the Austria Library Abroad, https://www.oesterreich-bibliotheken.at/

The Baltic members of the Internationale Deutschlehrerinnen- und Deutschlehrerverband e. V. IDV https://idvnetz.org/

To several colleagues from the University of Vienna. They invited me participate  on multidisciplinary research about (camping) tourism in the Baltic region.
We already found some really interesting publications. See a basic, rudimentary, commented hospitality bibliography – chronological organized - on research about the Baltics and Tourism.

And our practical project part,
